Among the famous athletes who played here was Leroy "Satchel" Paige. His last game was for the K.C. Athletics at age 59. Other baseball Hall-of-Famers who were here included Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Phil Rizzuto, Jackie Robinson and Babe Ruth.
